Barry Smith

Role: Founder / Lead Investigator / Technical Expert

Background: Barry is the founder of Unseen Frequencies and the driving force behind its mission to offer free paranormal investigations across the UK. With a lifelong interest in the unknown, he brings hands-on experience in field investigations, EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) analysis, and a deep understanding of the science and patterns behind hauntings.

Technical Focus: Barry is also the team’s technical expert, having developed the tools that power the Unseen Frequencies website — including the EVP Analyzer, Image Analyzer, and other in-house systems used for detecting and validating paranormal activity. His work ensures the team operates with precision, credibility, and technological innovation.

Responsibilities: In addition to leading investigations, Barry oversees all aspects of recruitment, website management, digital tools, and the ongoing development of Unseen Frequencies as a trusted public resource.

Rosa Manson

Role: Historian / Researcher

Background: Rosa was educated at the Lycee in London and a Quaker school. She has served as a volunteer for the United Nations Association and the British Red Cross, and has worked as a voluntary carer.

Experience: Holding a Private Investigations Foundation Level 3 qualification, Rosa brings a strong research ethic to the team. She currently focuses on analysing Cold Cases, with a deep interest in the mysterious Genette Tate case and the unusual phenomena connected to it.
